Mine has some marks too. Not crazy bad though.

Do we not have an edit button anymore or what? Not sure why the pic posted twice.

Is anyone else still waiting?

No pressure if you guys at BubbleTech are getting the curing/finish dialed-in. Just want to make sure I didn't get forgotten since I paid late and stuff.

Thanks

Update please.

I paid on the 2nd, you told me it would be in the mail the week after that, and I would like my lid before paypal's 30 days are up.

Thanks.

OK.
Bubbletech hasn't been online since May 12. Their website is gone. No word from them for weeks about my 125 bucks. The parts that did get shipped have obvious flaws.

Here we go again with RX-7 parts and vendors. I'm over this crap. Paypal, do your thing.

I sent Benny an email earlier today but it was returned as undeliverable so I messaged him through Bubble Tech's Facebook page, where he last posted on May 30th.

I just checked today... bubbletech.us website is up. Hopefully you can get this ironed out.

This company has been with the community for so long that I would think if any company deserved a little patience, it would be Bubbletech.

I've been here awhile too. Long enough to see whats going on.

How much money did they lose on the bad finishes? How much of my money was spent fixing them? How long until I get some kind of contact?
I'd say a month is more than a little patience. I paid on may 2nd, was promised my lid the next week, then poof. Nothing since.

Did you ever get any resolution on this, or did you have to seek a refund?

Nothing. Paypal is refunding my money because BubbleTech simply never replied when I opened the resolution claim.

They're GONE. Last online May 12th.

Their website has a brand-new banner (new in the last 10 days or so) that says we're open and operational! yet they haven't bothered to contact me with any info at all about my lid or money from a month and a half ago.

That's as shady and dishonest as anything. Don't send those guys a dime.

New banner, but they took down any way to find them. No phone number, no address, just an email address and the name of a city. More reasons to avoid them besides the crappy finishes and the blatant theft of my money.

I'd edit, but somehow that option isn't here, so I'll keep bumping this thread. I'm not going down without a fight.

I got my lid today. It was packed well and the finish looks great. I still never heard back from Bubbletech, but I'm going to stop the Paypal dispute since I got my part.

The part seems to be really nice, the communication and wait, not so much.

Part of me feels bad for snapping in public like this, but the other part looks back at the last couple years of getting ripped off with this car and I'm just glad to have my part.

Glad that you finally got it. It's understandable, it seems like we have more than our fair share of scammers, so our thinking is likely to go that way when you see the same type of behavior. Benny is a good dude though, hard telling what he's been up to. Still would have been good to at least converse though haha.

Very glad to hear that it arrived. I know that the FD market can be shoddy, but I like to have hope when it comes to the vendors that produce parts for our community.

Any news from Bubbletech? Are they still radio silent? Can I still order one?

I'd like to order a map lid if BubbleTech comes alive again. Seems like most of the parts are sold out and may be staying that way for a while?

Benny’s site say map lids shipping February 22, hopefully that means 2019 so drop him a line as ask from the website...he’s always quick to respond when I bought a passenger door handle in the summer time.
