GB Interest - Molybdenum Exhaust stud replacement Bolts

I am checking if anyone here is interested in bolting down their manifold instead of using Studs. This will be especially useful in situations where clearance is tight and will not allow you to remove your manifold.

I am looking into getting Molybdenum bolts. M10x1.5

Molybdenum is a metal, same hardness as steel with

High thermal stability
Melting point 2620°C (4700+F)
Low distortion at high temperature
Maintains strength at high temperatures

As you can see, Molybdenum can handle anything our rotary engines can throw at it, and with the low distortion, high heat handling capabilities and strength they will be ideal to use as exhaust studs replacement, and have a much higher heat tolerance that the inconel OEM studs.

Many of you use "Moly" compund, a antiseizing compound used derived from Molybdenum.

Costs are fairly high per bolt due to the cost of the metal alone. I was originally looking into Tantalum, however I was getting quotes for about 150 a bolt. This is the next best thing, and will be offered for about 40-50 shipped per set of 4.

Bump.

Nobody want to replace their old exhaust studs with high quality bolts??

This is no only easier to remove but less likely to seize in place!
