In other news, the handles should be finished being coated early next week. We have the boxes and packing materials ready to go and hardware is on the way, so we're hoping to start getting these in the mail within the next two weeks!

Again, after the handles begin to ship, the GB price will no longer apply to any handles that may be left over, and we can't guarantee any quantities or what finish will be available at that point... basically whatever is left is what is available. Just want to give everyone a heads up on that.

Your car thanks you. we fix problems mazda didnt care to, cause it would have cost them too much money unfortunately it's not cheap. Trust me I know, I've sunk 40K into my project car so far and it still doesnt run lol

 

should we purchase another FD and wish to keep the handle, will there be a way to get the finish changed?

kinda. if you have a 94, you can sand the texture off and re-coat it. If you have a 93 you would have to texture it with some sort of textured undercoat, and then recoat it. The texture for the 94 finish is cast into the handle itself, and the 93 (which is why we charge a little more) has to be sanded smooth.

Funny thing is, you'll really never even see it. The grip covers everything besides the flat outer area, and the flat outer area (coated section) basically rests behind the plastic. We were just obsessive about making it match perfectly (even though you wont see it) because that's just how we are with FD's
