Carbon Fiber Liners Group buy

Ok here is the group buy thread for ya'll. These are real Carbon Fiber overlays that you take your fender liner out and glue this piece into the place that shows ( and yes they fit right into that spot) and then u reinstall the fender liner and your set.
As for the full carbon fiber replacement fender liner those will cost more and they are really only for show not really practical. THEY ARE FLEXIBLE AND WILL COME WITH CLIPS TO REINSTALL YOUR FENDER LINERS INTO YOUR CAR SINCE THEY ( CHRISTMAS TREE CLIPS) SEEM TO BREAK WHEN PULLING THEM OFF.
Here are the prices as follows and keep in mind they are not 100% perfect and they will take at least two weeks at the most to make and send out.

-FENDER LINER GLUE ON PEICE THAT SHOWS IN THE ENGINE BAY. The ones in the pics below
$150 SHIPPED

-FULL REPLACEMENTS THAT REPLACE THE FRONT HALF OF THE LINER
$375 SHIPPED

MY PAYPAL IS whiteturbo876port@hotmail.com AND I REQUIRE THE DEPOSITS BEFORE I MAKE THE PART FOR YOU AND SEND IT OUT.

Keep in mind there is going to be alot of orders so the first batch made will take longer than the rest but i promise the wait will be worth it. here are pics of the product installed.

Here is the list guys put your name on it when u send the money jsut cut and paste with your name in it.

For the replacements can u take a pic of a full liner and show excatly what it replaces I think it will b more helpfull

silverfdturbo6port 10-08-09 07:45 PM

the full replacement is basically a special order as it will cost alot of money to make the mold for just one pair.

i'm interested in the flexing ability - mind showing how well this will flex?

DeeSan 10-08-09 08:59 PM

any plan on making them in plain weave? Since jdm parts are all made with plain weave carbon I think ppl will want every carbon parts they have on the car to fit!

silverfdturbo6port 10-08-09 09:20 PM

fender

keep in mind i know carbon fiber really well... these overlays are only one layer unlike a hood or fender that is usually 4-7 layers fiberglass and one layer carbon fiber. I only did one layer so the fender liner still can flex for installation. here is a video

. the parts in the pic is 2x2 twill and are made to flex just like the stock plastic fender liner. but i can do plain weave also just takes more time

sweet thanks guys that was getting kinda fustrating lol. but yea it always depends on the resin. i will make them and send them out as the money comes to my paypal

FD3S2005 10-09-09 12:55 AM

so do you have to take off the original liner to put it on for you can do it from the engine bay?

JCurry 10-09-09 01:24 AM

how long are you gonna make these for?

silverfdturbo6port 10-09-09 01:30 AM

you have to take the liner out bond it on and u put the liners back in and your set. i will be making these untill people dont want them anymore

Scrub 10-09-09 05:09 PM

looks pretty damn flexible. What kind of wear resistance does it have compared to stock? Have you done any kind of testing of that nature?

I'm just thinking for guys with low cars who go through fender liners quickly.

silverfdturbo6port 10-09-09 06:26 PM

It really depends on what part your talking about, the full liner or the inserts, and what part of the fender liner usually wears on a lowered car? As for testing they don't serve any purpose but to make those spots look nice they don't do anything special they just sit there and look pretty. the epoxy resin used is UV protected so they wont fade, go milky, or turn yellow. And as for keeping them clean and nice all u gotta do is buff them if they get all scratched over time, its just like keeping the paint nice on the outside of your car you wash it maybe wax it once in a while.

silverfdturbo6port 10-10-09 03:13 PM

nobody interested in a set of these?

oppa637 10-10-09 04:54 PM

I think the price was a bit higher than people expected.

CrispyRX7 10-10-09 06:04 PM

I'd consider but the price was too high.

For the glue-in inserts $80-$100 shipped is probably more palatable to most...IMHO

$100 shipped thats the lowest i can go

viviorunitia88 10-12-09 05:44 PM

does the replacement actualy replace the peice of plastic? I should be sending payment sooner or late need to get some credit cards payed off.

prrex4ever 10-12-09 06:37 PM

I paypal my payment today. Not a big investment to set your FD engine bay's off from everyone else plus it will match my CF intake cover. Looking forward to putting them on.

DaleClark 10-12-09 09:03 PM

I'll be sending payment Thursday when I get paid. Good work my friend!

yes it does but realistically it would be pointless unless your doing a show car

silverfdturbo6port 10-15-09 12:10 AM
