aluminum/stainless powersteering reservior interest?
almost most fds i see have some sort of leaky powersteering reservior. i took a look closely at this issue and realized that the seam on the reservior tends to leak over time.
im leaning towards making a stainless reservior that will sit in place of the stock reservior. it will use the oil cap from the oil filler neck, so people can run their fancy caps! price should be around 110 plus shipping which is typically 12 to 15 bux let me know what you all think |
i think it is good idea

I'd take one..

Interested - anything I can do to eliminate more plastic parts

Yeah, an aluminum unit with possible AN style bungs would be great!!!

But the return from the power steering rack will be a NPT fitting so people can plumb it using AN fittings or with a barb. I'll be building a prototype and posting up some pics. I'm just finishing the last few oil filler necks and then I can focus on this |
Interested to see how it turns out.

^^^ Same here Zee, but going by other parts you've made ,I'd buy..

Mines leaking pretty bad. Ill for sure by one if you make a decent piece.
