What parts do YOU want to see?
As companies come and go, we see some parts become unicorn pieces that are sought after. LRB Speed is growing exponentially right now and wants to know what parts you want to see next!
We are currently working on: Louvers -This has been a back burner project but with enough interest we can move it up the pipeline BAC valve manifold - We have recently acquired a CNC Machine and look forward to offering a solution similar to the Rising RPM IAC manifold. Again with enough interest this can be moved up the priority list. Hood strut kit - A drop in hood strut kit for steel, aluminum or fiberglass/CF hoods! Spoilers! - We are in the early stages of prototyping aluminum roof hatch, duckbill, and nascar style spoilers We've added a poll so please include other ideas or vote for what you would like to see next! |

bleh, i was already working on putting together a hood strut kit since my old set from 5 years ago is blown and needs to be replaced. but i won't be advertising them for sale here anyways, so probably be fine if we both had a kit.

How about a idiot cluster bezel? A blank one at that, so that buyers can add their own gauges.
A sun roof? Most OEM ones are rusted out, and the FG ones are hit or miss. Front splitterlip spoiler? |
i had actually had plans of making the front air vents with slats of aluminum, i doubt i'll ever really do more than just 1 set for my own car but i always hated how fragile the vents were.
|
LRD FC Diffuser!
|
as i was cleaning my car i also thought about a dead pedal and monogram pedal pads.
i was like "daaaamn, this dead pedal sure is ugly, i wish i had a nice aluminum one!" and since its a generic idea it will pass onto many other car models too. |
How about strut bars? I'd love to see the triangular front strut brace that has been discontinued by Racing Beat and Mazdatrix.
Also something like the Autoexe underbody brace would be fantastic. |
shifter console that will allow a T5 or T56 to the interior.
|
Aluminum dash?

I was just thinking you guys could make some handles for the back hatch. They could mount to the latch loop on the hatch. Bend it back toward the glass for spoiler clearance.

Woah, awesome ideas going on in here!! Keep them coming, we have been checking despite not chiming in.
Here's where we're at! -Louvers. These have started, and we have a near-finished prototype that's a few tweaks away from retail. Very excited about this, it was a challenge but we learned a lot from it, that we'll be applying to other parts! -Hood struts got an overwhelming amount of votes! We're ready to get these going, a friend of ours from overseas lent us his set that he produced some years ago, so be on the look out for those! -Spoilers - no news, but definitely a "want" to do item! We made note of all what's in here that's within our realm of feasibility, and will begin working on them as time permits! Aluminum dash has long been on my list of "wants", so definitely look for that one sooner than later ;) Thanks so much!! |

Hood struts for CF would fill a void. Not even the uber Chinese Soakie Tech offers them for CF :)

Seriously, I am DONE with all of the +25 years old interior plastics on my FC!! Which brings me to the next want/would like to buy: Every single interior plastic trim (kick panels, A pillars, rear side panels [lower and upper]) |
LRB Speed,
Please make some idiot light surrounds. Thanls. edit: better yet, how bout a blank that covers it, maybe with a mazda logo cut out of it? |
S4 t2 lower to fd upper manifold adapter
A panel to hold aftermarket gauges in the stock gauge cluster location . Rear cargo cover to work not using factory brackets that you have to track down . A better option to our rusty door window moldings coupe or vert . Reverse vented hood scoop for the stock t2 hoods for us fmic guys . maybe a block off plate for the stock t2 scoop opening again for us fmic guys Adjustable camber link Just a few I can think up with the 7 in front of me . |
^Reverse vented hood scoop for the stock t2 hoods for us fmic guys .
|
Duckbill and roof spoiler for me. Maybe like the S4 sport duckbill but a little more aggressive. And a better looking roof spoiler than what's available.
|
Headlight vent cover, reversed vented hood scoop plz
|
a sunroof panel replacement
I'm surprised not many people are asking for this? |
an actual front diff mount that is on hand that you can buy
https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-pr.../#post12051544 Lucky-10 | Research Design Fabrication both of these rock but i cant buy either one...:icon_tdow |
|
LOL you are really on a tear with these front diff mounts :)

So since those are made , let's get this reverse vent going for the t2 hood . Plenty of us that could use it .
|
Wouldn't let me edit . Also the duckbill is a must

Just weld a solid mount like most of us and call it a day. Yes, some have torn the tab off the subframe, but that's usually with serious power and serious traction. I have not torn the mount with 400+ whp.

yes so my car makes 328/323 with lsx 5.3 with a baby cam, oem subframe mounts, mazdaspeed front comp mount (tore rubber and broke steel plate connected to diff) and broke the tabs off the subframe, will be cutting that off tonight and welding a steel plate in back on the subframe.
I refuse to go back to the delrin diff mounts bc of the NVH roar in my car over 40 mph, so yes i know im treading the fine line between street and race car. But my car is a full interior, ac, street car with full poly kit bushings, dtss eliminators etc street car that I autocross and street cruise |
oh sorry mazdaspeed diff mounts too (took care of the crazy roar from the delrin, but brought back wheel hop) which my guess is the wheel hop broke it not the soft mounts...
|
http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=3659.30 also did this mod
|
Ok let's gets some votes for these people to make a reverse scoop for these t2 hoods . I traded my na hood for this jdm t2 hood ( all stock stickers ) and now have noticed a 10-12 degree difference in engine coolant temps on average over the last few weeks of driving . I'm not letting go of this hood so hopefully this can be made .
|
duckbill spoiler
|
Outer door handles that don't break. In the last 7 to 8 years I've gone through 3 sets. It has come down to buying up a stock pile of used handles....
|
I know gauge clusters are cheap, but I can't tell you how many times the clear plastic in front of it breaks on me.
I saw you guys have the Sport undertray. Why not round out the series with the moldings and spoiler? I have the OEM rubberized version but it's got rips and tears in it that I'm not sure how to fix. Maybe a bit of aluminum sheet to cover it that can then be painted? Ditto on the bezel around the warning cluster. Been on the hunt for one of those and am not resolved to just buy a new one. Also ditto on the strut bars. Bonus for a triangulated one (that might be tricky for T2 owners though) and for a brake master cylinder brace |
