Props for creating another quality product, I will definitely be picking one up now that I have swapped my T2 hood for a CF/FG vented hood.

I was using another (cheaper) option with the stock turbo hood that was working well but it mounted using the metal ribbing underneath and I'm sure it was placing undue stress on the single mounting location. After switching to a composite hood (which has no support structure) I attempted to create a bracket to the same affect....it did not end well.

Considering how composite hoods are constructed and how other dampeners mount, this setup is the only one you could use with any hope of retaining the structural integrity of your hood over time.

Thanks!

Once I finish all my back logged vm work I will re-open and start taking orders on all Re-products and whatever else my contact (dynamic autosports / gruppe-s) has on their line card.

RotaryWeaponSE7EN 10-09-13 11:59 AM

Ok, thank you. Keep us updated. Appreciate it.

phil226 10-20-13 02:43 AM

yes, steel hoods use 2x70lbs, at first I used 2x80, my concern is the 6mm bolt in the fender which machined down from the one in the bracket.

the 10th anny I designed it on had a steel turbo hood.

already tested

brian_skotch 03-11-14 01:17 PM

Rotary Extreme Sales 1 03-12-14 04:21 AM
