Sure I can answer that, let me be super transparent about this. I'll do a write up this weekend and do a copy paste here. If I try to write it all now, the website will time out on me.

But basically a bottle neck effect happened, also Im the only one doing everything with the exception of a guy who welds the aluminum for me.

I had to shut down my business because all the small orders were taking my time away from the vm kits as well. So Im temproray closed until all this work is done.

But I'll get into detail this weekend.

It's been almost 2.5 years since you received roughly 25K from all of us. That's if my math is right 10 people at roughly $2500 a person give or take $250....

Thanks

Im also going to state that with YOU, we have 156 corresponding emails over the said past 2.5 years.

That I am working with you On changing your order from a track to monster vmount which sucks for me because I bout your core and now Im covering your new core. I wont list all the details here but because your set-up is so custom a lot of the stuff I bought will now sit and we worked on what the fix was. Im sure if I got it out faster I wouldn't have this issue but because I still have this order for so long Im trying to accommodate you.

But this is one of the situations which slows me down and I have to find the fair fix for both of us, and we agreed on things in email.

So that's 1 example of me trying to be transparent since I was called out to answer in public, which I owe everyone.

Hopefully I'll have something this weekend after Im done working on some kits.

That averages to 5.5 emails a month. I don't think that is too much or anything? Do you?

I wasn't trying to air any personal business dealings in my post? At Least, that's how it read to me. After 2.5 years people's needs/wants for their setup change. You had to know that would happen to some degree.

But this is one of the situations which slows me down and I have to find the fair fix for both of us, and we agreed on things in email.

I agree.

So that's 1 example of me trying to be transparent since I was called out to answer in public, which I owe everyone.

I only asked you to be transparent in your time table for completing one kit.
I even sate that after the question i ask.....i wasn't "calling you out" merely asking a question that any business owner should be able to answer about the product he/she/they area promising. Its like when you buy a washer/dryer to be delivered. They tell you when they can deliver it......and you weren't called out in public. This thread literally is prolly only visited by the people in the GB. Which are your customers.

The fact is: Most of the delays had been due to, from what you state, the difference in design between S4 & S5, intercooler cores being discontinued and cooling issues/piping problems.

Hopefully I'll have something this weekend after Im done working on some kits.

That'd be great, I think we can all agree on that.

Ben

Thanks
- Cory

its not 156, i was wrong, i thought i had 4+ pages saved its only 3+ so 121 emails

to be transparent and to explain how long it takes to make a kit I have to explain everything that goes into it, holds it up, how it effects the others, why im jumping between kits.

i have to explain 2.5 years delay, so just explain alone how long it takes to build a kit just wont cut it.

the history has to be explained and unless i give as much data as possible the situation wont be understood completely.

i will not say anything else personal, sorry for that but I will have to give scenerios.

as far as updating the thread with progress, i agree, but if i have no progress i cant update. I was moving all of jan and part feb so i guess thats an update as to why i didnt give an update.

you did ask the right question, i do need to explain, no fault on you for that

i just didnt want to put all my peronal ish on here for the whole community to see, i just wanted to send a grouped email to all of you.

BUT.......

as a business owner and to assure you guys that you were not ripped off and the you will get your stuff and to allow future customers to see what went on behind the scenes I will have to do a tell all.

I will not let you guys down, I am a team player and I am working hard to get all the stuff out.

General response for all,

still working on kits in order they were paid now

I'll have some pics in 2 weeks to show the finished shroud, piping .....

Then it will be easy from there.

I had to redo alot of things. Mostly because the donor car was missing stuff and I didnt have an FC to test it out myself in the begining...that was a very stupid move.

A contract lawyer approached me and said I should do contracts. Basically it would ask you guys to give me 6 weeks per kit in order of sales and that a vebal contract (which we have is good for 2 years...past due) and that a written contract is good for 4 years. I was like F... that. Im not even going to ask that, its already way too long as it sits.

I do want something to assure you guys your getting the kits soon, but I'm not going to pay 2k and get hustled and then have the lawyer manipulate the situation and get paperwork involved.

All the kits are paid for and I threw in extra stuff. Any refunds will have to be me re-selling your kit then you could get your money. If I get sued, which I hope I don't, I will have to close shop and liquidate everything.

I just need to get these out ASAP and salvage the mess I have created on the FC side of my busienss

I'd much rather have a beautiful v-mount kit than a nasty, costly and paperwork laden lawsuit on my hands. I'll continue to be patient, just hoping to get it before the summer time heat gets here! Thanks Ben

Thank you,

Above all, I have to keep my word and honesty and do my best to do the right thing.

I dont want a quick fix, I want the correct fix.

Ouch!

okay okay oaky I did laugh, at myself.

So I wasted a lot of time in my new home that I'm renting making sure nothing got stolen.

Within the 3 months I've been here I witnessed a drive by shoot 5 houses down from me. I have bullet holes in my front windows from another shooting so Ive barricaded my self in, I had some guys walking down my driveway at 2 and 4 in the morning so I put up a gate with metal I had laying around and threw some bamboo on it and my car had its door locks pried on. So now I have security cameras and motion detection lights. I put locks on everything and welded a jail style gate over my work area. I also had to get 2 storage sheds. So its been reeaall fucked up and that's the latest "excuse" for the recent delay. I have to pay money at every corner to get to my house, I get asked for money while im getting my food at drive trough's, Ive got scrapers (lifted cars on 40 rims) and sky high bikes. I live in Oakland CA by the coliseum. Heres some pics to enjoy. And when it rains I have **** and toilet paper fountains in front of my house

So I have all this settled now and I can back to work on the kits, just finishing up the final fan shroud then I can copy everything 13 times and get it all out.

Im sorry, I know it does not help, but Im sorry. Believe me, I almost had a stroke or some **** over this whole situation but I'm better now and have more energy.

I also patched a hole big enough for someone to sneak into the garage from the attack... freaking sneaky.

Can you imagine its 1600 for a 2 bed one bath house, and that's hella cheap here in the bay area..... now I know why.
