Wrong fuel injectors...

Alright so I apologize to anyone who thinks I'm just jumping into the ring of posting too soon, anyways after searching I have not found an answer I'm satisfied with.

Bought my 88' n/a convertible 7, it should have 460cc injectors but it was running rich so I pulled them and sent them out to be flow tested and stuff.

2 injectors are flowing at 540cc and the other 2 around 500 I'm assuming this is why I'm running rich is there any way to get around this issue sticking with my now clean injectors, or will I need to purchase new injectors?

i would think the o2 sensor would help line this out. maybe a bad o2?? im not an expert but am dabbling in megasquirt. i have no clue how the stock computer responds to rich conditions.

Unless you have a way to control the injectors, like a fuel controller, you will not be able to do anything with those injectors. The good news is that stock 460's are super cheap.

Thanks, so it may not be looking good, really all I could think of is well its running rich so I just need to get more air in there. Would these injectors even be worth putting back in, or should I just let the car sit as is for now?

This is not a modern car, so there's no 02 sensor feedback except when cruising. Injectors that are larger than stock will cause hard starting, loss of power and poor mileage. Compare your injectors with what's listed in the 2nd gen FAQ (2nd gen section). It's possible you have some poor aftermarket replacements, or even TII 550cc injectors. You can find some used OEM 460cc injectors in the classifieds and have them cleaned/refurbished for about $20 each.
