whick mode is better twin or sequentials?
Iam just wondering wich mode is better sequential or twin on the 3rd gen rx7 ...I know for a fact that in supras the twin modes is a litlle lag but better top end and mph trap speed than the sequentials.
I just want to know what are your experiences.. |
i'm not sure exactly what you're asking but FD's come with sequential twins from the factory. Do you mean....what are the differences between sequential and non-sequential?
|
diffrences are: sequential is one after the other. first turbo kicks in from1-4500rpms..or around there, and then the second turbo kicks in after that till redline. advantage: no lag
non-sequential, like 300zx tt's have have both turbo's constantly spooling together. like throughout the whole power band. so little lag, but more top-end power. |
There's not more top-end power. Think about it. Sequential mode, you are running both turbos in the upper range, same as non-seq....same flow. The reason people do non-sequential is if there is a problem with the sequential setup, or substantial cracking of the exhaust inlet areas.
