Where does this go? (HELP)

88 T2:
Okay... I've done some searches on ground wires and I notice that alot of people mention the ground above the starter that connects to the firewall. WHERE exactly on the firewall does this connect to and what type of connector is used (is it a plastic spade-type connection or is it a round metal one?)?

Second... There's supposed to be a ground wire running off the intake manifold (right?) and terminating next to the wiper motor. I found the spade end (next to the wiper motor), but there's nothing connected to it. I did, however find an unconnected ground wire (with a plastic spade type connector) running off the rear rotor housing (passenger side, right below the upper intake manifold). Is this the ground that connects next to the wiper motor?

Help me Rotary Guru's... you're my only hope!!!! THX

There are only two engine grounds.&nbsp The main engine ground is a rather thick cable with a ring crimp lug that is attached to one of the bell housing bolts - the is attached to a point at the "bottom" of the driver's side strut tower.&nbsp The other ground wire is an auxiliary ground that attached anywhere on the intake manifold to the firewall.&nbsp This is the smaller of the two engine ground, and it about a 10-14AWG sized wire.

Like the previous poster said, main ground goes from neg bat terminal to one of the tranny bellhousing bolts, the other is chassis or common ground for radio, lights, etc. It's needed because that engine ground wont trave to the chassis thru the engine mounts. U can get this ground either thru a 10-14 gauge wire between anywhere on the engine to anywhere on the body(firewall, inner finder) or directly from the neg terminal to the body. Mine has a ring terminal attatched to the main ground with a bolt to the inner finder.
