how? the push style clutch lever is pushing against the clutch pushing the e-shaft forward. no shaft play. maybe if he removes the clutch slave cylinder giving the arm play to move with the clutch unless its sanwitched with no play inbetween the throwout bearing and trans.

im tring to remember on these as i didnt play with the fc too much before i got the fd i know with that one if you have to remove the front pully you need to put a block of wood inbetween the clutch and trans in the view window to keep the e shaft from rearward movment causeing the thrust bearings to drop off thier ledge on the e;shaft possibly causing damage to get them reset in thier propper local.

Well it's getting pulled tomorrow.
Putting the stock flywheel back on.
Want to trap 130MPH+ at the track this Summer.

OK...check this out!
I am getting end play when you push in and out on the clutch.
Should I still pull it?

The proper time to measure endlplay is when the engine is still being assembled (as you probably know). That means no clutch, and entire drivetrain + weight of the car, engaged to the flywheel. I'd say now the step is to measure the end play with the clutch disengaged.

I think there is something on the clutch end pushing everything forward.
Might be the ACT Max Extreme PP?
