what's the difference between a rotary and a normal engine?
 

As the title says. What is the difference between a rotary and a normal engine? Some might say, u don't know what a rotary is? U shouldn't be here...lol

Seriously though, don't try to "compair" rotaries and piston motors in terms of how they work. Everything from the flywheel back may be the same, but in front of the flywheel, if you're trying to think in terms of how conventional motors work, you're just going to get more confused.

That said, rotaries use two triangles that spin clockwise in an elongated oval, creating the 4 "strokes" of a piston motor. intake, compression, compustion and exhaust.
