What carb works for autocross?

I put a stock 13b from a 1975 RX4 in a Porsche 914 and stripped out everything that didn't help me win in the SCCA Solo II Emod class. It was a lot of fun, and I won often, for many years until an apex seal grenaded the engine. The biggest problem I had with the engine was that the stock Hitachi (I think) carburator would go very lean in high G turns (If you're autocrossing right, they're all high G turns). The way that carb is designed, it is inevitable. The fuel in the float bowl flows away from the secondary jets when I turn one direction, and away from the primary jets when I turn the other direction. I thought I would replace the engine with a fuel injected engine to eliminate this problem, but I found that there are lots of problems setting up a fuel injection system, too. Now, I am thinking I would be better off rebuilding the engine I have and finding a carb that does a better job of keeping the mixture stable in high G turns. I measured 1.3 Gs when I had some old Goodyear slicks. When I got some new Hoosiers, I did not have access to the G Analyst, but I am sure I was pulling more Gs. Any suggestions?:dunno:
