What Boost and bhp using Nippondenso Fuel Pump

I have fitted to my FD a Nippondenso Fuel Pump purchased from rx7store. Here is the link http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/ni...nso%20pump.htm

I have had it on the car for a couple of years and its worked well with the twin turbo set up with them running 1.1bar, i now have upgraded to a hks t04r single turbo. Who has used this pump before and what results have you had??? just wondering what boost i will be able to run with that pump

no one used this pump????

i am not shure that is the same pump i used , but i , used the 3 rotor pump , for my 2 rotor , up to 20 psi , on a 60-1 , with 550cc prime/1600cc sec
worked for me

As their ad states, the pump has been tested and will support up to 450 hp at 36-40 psi of boost. Unless you're producing more than 425 hp, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm making 425whp with that pump with the garrett T04R, though I do have a Kenne Bell boost-a-pump added increasing voltage by 30% to the pump.

This is with 3" dual exhaust, .84 hotside and the WG plumbed back into the down pipe at 23lbs of boost, all of which will rob power but is the most stable level for my setup. The turbo is capable of more but without a bigger WG spring the boost level fluctuates too much for my liking when turned up.

thanks for that Mills :icon_tup: i put my car on the rolling road at the weekend and got 340 @ wheels running only 0.8bar, i now need a 3bar map sensor then i can put the boost up a bit more :)

That's a good number, once you turn the boost up it looks like you'll be able to squeeze even more power out of your setup than I am :D

Let us know how it goes, I'd like to know what the pump will sustain by itself at a normal boost amount-(~25lbs or so) when I turned my boost-a-pump to max (50%) it blew the Haltech fuse so I'm stuck where I'm at without some further tweaking...
