You might want to list a set of mods on the car.

Do you already have your suspension set up?
Wheels and tires?
Cage?
Upgraded cooling system?

What kind of drifting are you going to be doing? local events or are you looking to do a Formula Drift ProAm Event?

You have to have a license for d1 ... and it's just local for now... i cant do d1 for like 2 years in the millitary right now...
I'm wanting to go pro when i get out I should be able to save a about 30k for a build and getting started

No license is required if you are competing in the pro/am competition. What you need is $350 to register, tire money, and maintenance money. It adds up fast. I dont think that 30K will be enough for a season in formula drift if you dont have a car. Here are the rules to compete in the pro/am completion.

Do a lot research and dont drift your daily driver. 5K isnt a lot to get into drifting.
