Wear limits of S4 TII rotor Apex seal slots
I have one that looks to be streched some in the apex seal slot area. It is more severe on only one side.
Side A gaps measured: 2.01-2.04 mm Side b gaps measured: 2.15-2.18 mm I believe this would be out of spec BUT I cant find any credible information. Here are all six.. http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../GARAGE070.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../GARAGE076.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../GARAGE073.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../GARAGE072.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../GARAGE074.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../GARAGE075.jpg |

murray, I wouldn't use those rotors in a build at my shop. |

You clearance your apex seals by *feel*? I don't mean to be rude, but that is no way to build an engine in my opinion, not when you're dealing with clearances that are measured in the thousandths of a millimeter.
