walboro pump - bleeding off fuel?

Just curious.. The stock FC/FD fuelpumps have little checkvalves at the outlets to prevent fuel from leaking back through the fuelpump once the pump is shut off..

according to my fuel pressure gauge, my fuel system holds no pressure at all once the fuel pump is shut off.. It drops right to 0 ...

Can some of you with walboro fuel pumps installed confirm wether your system holds fuel pressure or not after the car is turned off?

My current setup includes a walboro fuel pump, malpassi FPR, stock fuel rails, no PD...

Thanks,
Chris

Hey, look on the bright side, you won't flood the engine after shutdown!

That is correct.
The Walbros don't have internal check valves. :)

That's nice to know. Thanks.

most race pumps dont hold residiual pressure after shut down. on restart you have to watch your fuel pressure come back up before cranking, sometimes annoying. RON

Not True, Walbros do have check valves on the outlet..... Mine holds pressure for days after shut down with twin walbros. Its kinda like a schraeder style valve just like comp tester..Not only that, if you twinned them like I have with them staged, and used no external checkvalves it would never build pressure while the second pump was off..max
Ps: Toss the Malpassi...
