venting stock bov?

Does anyone know if it is safe to vent your stock bov on
a Fd? As described in this article on http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/386265/7

Vented Stock BOV:

The FD's come with a blow-off valve, however they are normally silenced by the air box. The stock BOV is located right behind the airbox, and there is a short 10cm hose connecting the BOV back into the airbox. Most people thing you need to buy an aftermarket BOV in order to get that nice WHOOSH sound, but you can un-silence the stock BOV in only a few minutes, and it doesn't cost anything! Free mods are always the best.

All you do to vent the BOV, is simply unplug it from the hose that connects into the airbox. If you do this, make sure you cap off the hose because you don't want air being sucked though the hose (which does not pass though the filter). I capped off the hose with a copper cap and a hose clamp.

leave the blow off valve on, remove the hose between it and the airbox, plug the hole in the airbox. it's really very simple.

that's what i did but my car die's

then something else is wrong with your car, becuase there is really nothing about the Bov that prevents the car from working, Granted if you build boost and it has no where to go then you might have a problem.

what can it be to make it die like that thank's

The BOV do nothing but protect your turbo from compressor surges.

What I'm thinkin' is that you Prob. took off the BOV.

1. Take off the hose that connects to the air box to the BOV. And cap the air box with something.

Leave everything on the BOV alone. Like the Vacuum line to the UIM and the Hose to the Y-PIpe.
