Unsolved fuel smell

Same story unknown smell. My 94 touring had the dampaner fail in rush hour traffic in D.C. I was lucky I avoided a fire, and had it towed. The dampaner was leaking.I had the dampaner replaced ,I also had the seals replaced , all four injectors are not leaking .However afer short runs the cars engine smells of fuel ? Cant find any wet spots , checked the fuel filter, fuel lines going back to the fuel cell, al looks good ,could it be vapor ?. The motor was just replaced ,I only had 525 miles on the new engine when the dampaner failed so I felt lucky I didnt fry the new motor.Well if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

94 touring ,PFS intercooler, exhaust,Air box,Cusco st bar, 99J spec

Also, check to make sure that the flux capacitor is fluxing properly.
