uncentered rear axle?? help!

when i installed my new coilovers i noticed that the space from the coilover to the hub was greater on one side than on the other. there is just less space in that wheel well than the other. i recently had body work done from a little scrap that i had so i took it back and they said its natural for an axle to be off as much as an inch to one side. im looking to buy rims and am VERY picky of my fitment so im wondering if itll affect this or any performance of the car.

has this happened to anyone or is the body shop trying to pull on over on me?

theres a possibility that the camber could be resonsible because of the fact i lowered the car and havent adjusted the camber or had an alignment

maybe you should ask another body shop what they think?

What year do you have? I know that there was a write up in the 1st gen section about the same problem you have cant remember the fix. Post a thread in what gen you have. Some people might not check this all that often.

Will do thanks man
And I'll browse around the 1st gen section to see if I can find it
