two or three

Two or Three rotor engine depends completely on your situation. For one, a 3 rotor engine is not exactly cheap as it's not amazingly common, has to be imported in most cases, and requires many extras parts and configuration.

A 3 rotor will generate more power obviously than a 2 rotor, a 3 rotor will generate more torque... but will also drink a lot more fuel.

A 2 rotor is a lot easier to build as the plates are more obviosly positioned and put into place.

I wouldn't recomend you try building a 3 rotor your first time building a rotary engine.

go through like 6 or 7 2 rotors before you go to a 3 rotor. a 3 rotor will run you 4 grand unless you can get it off of someone.

which Rx-7?

for building, start with whichever engine is stock in your car. makes no sense to jump into an ocean if you can't swim.
