Twin Turbo problem

Ok our JC Cosmo (20B TT) seems to be lacking power.
Firstly, it is running rich. We have changed the ECU and AFM with no change.
There is a severe (I think anway) lack of power down low and a very slight hesitation once it gets going.
Starting to pss me off.
Have been told to try water temp sensor, O2sensor (pain in the ass t get at). What else can we try.
I am going to get the injectors cleanded to make sure they are up to sratch too.

is it normal for the boost to flutter quite a bit at the transition point from the first turbo to the second??

Cheers in advance.

Is your car running on stock ECU? What mod do you have?

I don't know about 20b engine but on a stock car, if any sensor is bad, the ECU will display engine service light. If there's no code in the ECU, then your sensors should be fine.

Maybe you can tell us more about your car so we can suggest reasons that you're running rick and lacking low end power.

Ok, the engine has been completely rebuilt from end to end, every seal etc replaced.
The ports were openedup to but not as much to upset the ECU. The engine was built by Rotary Power here in NZ. One of the more experienced people in NZ and definitely the most experience with 20B's.
We are running a 3" exhaust as well but the rich problem has been there for longer than the exhaust.
Standard ECU etc.
According to Rotary Power this car has always run a bit rich (he has serviced this car before we bought it).
No check light is showing.
I am just a little surprised that the car isn't quicker. Have run a best of 14.8 1/4m. Should do 14.1 standard!
I thing one of the turbo's may also be going byby too. Car smokes a little, grey smoke and there is a little oil in the intake pipes too.

with a 20B motor you should be doing much better than 14.1.

Thats right. Thats why i want to fix the problem.
A standard 1640KG JC Cosmo will do a 14.1.
With our porting and big bore I was thinking once its sorted a 13.0 if not a very high 12 would be nice.

With a new fd, my friend did a 13.4...lots of people have done 13's. Aim higher :)
