That will be a dog if you only want 400 US hp. If you think you will aim closer to 600 with the water would be ok but I'd probably steer towards a plain bearing borg warner if looking to save money myself.

Though I'm not a huge fan of them as business people, pick up an 8374 and cast manifold from Turblown. They make good parts.

Thats actually a little more then i was planning on spending.

What about a td06-20g, I've had alot of good experiences in the past with them on many of my Subarus, I know the HP rating is close to what im looking for aswell.

You can spec similar compressor and turbine sizes to the efrs in plain bearing/metallic turbine.

Remeber that a turbo is only good for about 3/4 the power it will make on a piston motor too.

Thats a 350rwhp turbo on most setups. Mighe be able to squeeze 400rwhp near 20 psi.

BWS362 .91 with our cast ewg is under $2k. Makes 400rwhp between 14 and 16 psi depending upon dyno and configuration.

So this turbo is pretty much the same as the Ball Bearing version of thier T-62 T4 its just more components available to and than the T62. Buying a Turbonetics T62 new they wont let u purchase it with a divided turbine housing. And I believe the Sylvia automatically comes with a ported compressor shroud the difference in price is pretty even.
Possible 450rpm quicker spool with the Ball bearing CHRAs available for both adding $450 to the tab.
Look on the forum for information about the journal bearing T-62 full boost at 4500rpm, 300-500

-Ported shroud comes with Hurricane Sylvia available for T62
-T4 .82ar DIVIDED turbine housing optionally installed for Sylvia. Cant purchase T62 new with divided but the housing is separately available for $400
-F1-68 turbine wheel (specific housings are avilable for this wheel)
-HP72 compressor wheel
-Ball bearing versions allowed for both thats another 400.

Basic T62-1 cost $850 T62-2(bb) cost $1300

compare further details and prices on their website but the 2016 catalog has the most details on available components and compatibility.

Im sure they both spool much faster than a T88 and if you search the T62 on the forum u will see much info on power (4-500hp), spool(14.5psi @ 4500rpm stock ports)boost. Like i said they are the same turbo but the sylvia can be pieced together to be one of the best turbos for a 13b-rew. I know u only want 300-400 but that doesnt mean get a small turbo the t62 is the right size for u and sence u are ported i would look into it. U should have quicker spool with your ported motor but imagine even having a ball bearing version. U may see boos at fast or faster than the stock twins on stock ports. But i honestly would consider a 1.0 ar. Download the 2016 catalog and check out all the components available for the t62 and sylvia. It's mind blowing.
