Turbo II Conversion

So I'm in the process of a rebuild on a Turbo II that I plan to drop into my 87 SE N/A. I know that it's best to do a full engine/drivetrain conversion, but I'm trying to go with dropping in the TII engine, while only changing the flywheel on the NA tranny and running it that way.

The question i have is, would to power difference be enough to damage NA drivetrain components?

I have no plans to change the boost or much else after the conversion, but I don't wanna end up paying more in the long run. I just dont see how the HP difference would affect the drivetrain that much.

The torque of the engine when you get in it will start to wear it down unless you dont go into boost and drive in boost youll be ok... thinks will brake

the clutch won't hold unless it's an aftermarket unit.

i had my 88.5 race ported TII motor in my old NA being a cheap ass, and did it that way. the drivetrain held up to some drifting but i always noticed my clutch wasn't down with the new power.

good clutch, and yes, try to source a TII drivetrain on the side. NA Diff/axles are the weakest links. the trans will be fine up to about 250whp, and even then it wont break during pulls. it will break if you shift super hard, and rev between shfts (like clutch kicks/drifting)
