tune up

Since I bought my vert, 1 year and 4 months ago, I have put about 28 thousand miles on it, i wish i had another car to drive, becasue the thing is mint, and i hate wearing it out. But i have noticed decreased performance, and a little bit of rougher running then it used to. I want to perform a tune up, and I dont know where to start on this thing. I am a fairly adept mechanic when it comes to chevy V-8s, but this thing is wayyyyy different, and i dont want to screw anything up. I changed the plus about ten thousand miles ago, and other then chagning the oil every two thousand miles, i havent done anything to the engine. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here's some things you may want to check and replace:

-Spark plugs
-Air filter preferably replace with a K&N and a cold air box.
-Fuel filter and injectors (it's a good idea to get your injectors flow tested and blue-printed)
-Change the transmission and differential fluid
-Check all fluids
-Check your belts
-CHECK YOUR COOLING SYSTEM! Make sure it's in perfect condition... You're car should never run over 1/4th temp IMO.
-It's a good idea for you to get straight pipes replacing your cats, and if you do that, do the ATF trick! Even on a car with low miles, well-maintenanced, and properly driven, it can restore some compression... I've seen it done. If you don't like the idea of no cats get a high flow cat, as the stock cats are a problem waiting to happen.
-Replace the 02 sensor
-Check vacuum hoses, and electrical wires, as they will get brittle and crack from years of being close to a hot engine.
-Check suspension... ball joints, stabilizers, control links, bushings, shocks, and springs.

I know it's kinda vague, but if you'd like more info let me know
