Which trans is better?
Wanted to see what input is out there on this...which is a better tranny, the S4 T2 or the S5 T2? Im asking due to the difference in output shafts. The S4 is a (no innuendo intended) thicker output shaft as you can see in the top pic.

Both trans are very strong. Never broke one launching the car but I am easy with the clutch. Clutch engagement is the secret to not breaking parts launching, imo. I have broken a few trans in 3rd gear at 7500rpms though. S4 and S5. Never noticed one being stronger than the other one.
