TPS or a different problem?

Now I know some of you are immediately going to say search the forum. Well it's hard navigating the forums off of a dinky little phone, so please bare with me here.

I know that the rough idle and little baby back fires happen with a bad TPS. But how about a random fuel cut?
I was cruising steady on the highway at 3k rpm going 80. Suddenly my fuel cut out. My first thought was fuel pump, but after I clutched it and dropped the clutch again the power kicked back in.
Again later, same scenario slightly lower speed, it did it again. Instead of clutching it, I played with the throttle this time. After tapping the gas twice, power kicked back in.

Is this the TPS causing this? Fuel pump perhaps? Something else I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!

Chris

The TPS could result in fuel cut but so can the boost sensor, AFM, among other things. You could unplug both the TPS and boost sensor and see if the same results occur or not. If they don't then reconnect the boost sensor and still see if problem returns or not.

alright that gives me a few things to check on.
I forgot to mention before that I am driving a 91 NA vert. I'm not sure if that makes much of a difference.
thanks!
