tourqe wrench??
sorry im still very much a newb at mechanics. i was wondering what is better using a digital or a mechanical tourqe wrench? lets say from craftsmen.

sorry i wasnt more specific.well im putting in a new clucth and flywheel and i wanted to torqe it to factory spec.

Shouldn't make a difference.

Look at the range of what you're attempting to tighten. Not very many torque wrenches tighten to the flywheel torque. I beleive the click type are handiest.

I'd get a good click type. Craftsman, Matco, Snap-on, etc. Should be pretty accurate right out of the box. I think they're most accurate around 60-80% of their usable range.

i've got snap-on clicker. best one out there and i have tried them all.

Don't mess with that Craftsman crap.
Save the money and get at least a Snap-On or equivalent. -Ted |
