TII BOV help please
 
hi i am new to turbo rx7s i have had 2 NAs but this is my fist TII it came with a HKS bypass valve but i dont think it is hooked up properly can someone give some advise, a rough diagram, or pictures, of the best vaccume lines to use to insure it works properly, thanks.

Take a picture of it and post it. What makes you think its hooked up wrong?

well the car didnt run when i got it and i bought a JDM engine from corksport, my friend who had a TII put it on but it doesent seem to run right soo i will definately get those pics up soon. thank because i cannot find anything telling the right way to hook it up.

well if it's not routed back into the intake system, you'll run rich anytime it vents. Also if it's venting to atm. it could also have a weak valve and suck un-metered air in causeing it to run lean.

ok well here are some pics, the lower vaccume hose is tapped into the hose that leads to the sensor in the lower corner of pic.

i just am wondering how i should hook this up for the best results.

well here is pics, i just have never had a bov and cannot find advise on how they are supposed to be connected. car runs without it but i would like to hook it up properly thanks.

this is how mine is set up.....i know those are the best vacuum lines to tap into.
