its worth it. Well worth it. The one on top is the stock plug. Its like a thermostat for the oil. It goes in the e-shaft right behind the main pulley bolt. The plug doesn't open up until the oil is hot. Until then, your rotors get no lubrications. Sometimes, the thermostat thing goes bad, and it will never open up. This is one of those not so brilliant ideas. The replacement part is shorter than the original. Its the legnth that the original plug is when oil is hot. This means the replacement plug will always allow oil to flow to the rotors, and it can't fail because it has no moving parts.
