Is there a rotary school anywhere?

Does anybody know if there's a school or class that I could attend to gain more knowledge about rotarys?

I often wondered the same thing. Some of the well reputed places like Racing Beat or Atkins should offer simple courses. I'd pay to learn more! Mazda doesnt seem to offer anything except manuals.

Yeah I'm sure whoever would take the chance to open a school or class would make bankloads of money.

I doubt they would do it because the market, tho it may seem huge for us, isnt really that much in demand. Horrible gas mileage, horrible emissions, and piston engines out number us 1,789/1 people look at it like.....whats the point? Our engines arent as common. Tho ur correct, the companies that would hold a class would make a load of $ because they would be the only classes avail. so eveyrone would go to them.

I asked the same question years ago on this forum, pineapple racing has just released free videos on there website that are really good to learn from. Basically videos, this forum and the manuals from mazda, thats about it.

If you have a year free you can take the mechanic training program at Russel Racing. They run rotary powered race cars.

Just log on here everyday for a couple months and read read read. Then do it on the other rotary sights. In the middle of all that pull an engine apart, the only special tool for that is the big socket for the e shaft/ flywheel nut. When you see something you don't understand, search and yee shall find the answer.
