Is there an easy way to check new boost gauge accuracy?

I'm buying a boost gauge and wonder if there is a way to check the accuracy. I don't think my boost readings will be reliable because I'm having problems.

I rigged up a hose to go from the gauge to my air tank. I checked the air tank pressure with my (nice) tire pressure gauge that I use when racing. Then hooked the boost gauge up to the tank and checked to see if it agreed with the tire pressure gauge. I did this at 5, 8, 10 and 12 psi. My Autometer gauge was dead nuts on all 4.

If you have a PFC and Commander, you can compare the boost # on the commander w/ what you get on your gauge.

The power FC has been known to read higher than the boost gauge on some occasions.

That's what I've been told anyway.
