testing TPS?

i have a 88 vert with a 89 intake with brand new injectors, full racing beat exhaust, and a k&n air filter i just got it back and the idle is rough and i have to floor the gas to get it to start the guy tried adjusting the TPS but said it wouldnt adjust out i never had any problems with it before the mods but hee said it was because my timing was so advanced, is this true? it doesnt have the usual symptons of a tps like jumping from 700to1500 it just idles rough and has like a fuel miss is there any way i can test the tps with a ohm meter? and how would i go about doing it? the car pulls a wole lot better since the mods but im not happy with the idle i dont like to push in the clutch and turn a corner and the car cuts off,not fun any help would be appreciated im going to try and swap out the afm and see if that helps i have an air fuel guage and it does show that it is running lean thanks,Dave

I think you may need the 89 TPS. I'm not too sure, I don't get to mess with S5 cars much :(

i have the 89 intake but i have to use the throttle boddy from a 88 the car runs fine when im running it its just when idles the car sometimes wants to cut off when i turn corners and idles basically where it wants to sometimes 750 sometimes 1500 just depends on its mood i guess i ordered a new TPS for a 88 but was wondering wheres the adjustment and if i would have to adjust it due to my mods?
