Tech Schools...

Are there any tech schools out there were someone could get specialized training to work on the rotary? I know there are a ton of places to learn the ins and outs of the piston engine but ive never heard of a place to learn about the rotary. I mean there has to be some place where else would the mazda techs learn at?

Thats usually the answer I hear but there isnt a mechanic that knows jack about rotaries for a couple hundred miles from here much less one that would let me look over his shoulder and teach me somethings.

I had a friend that got me started in rotarys so I learned between him and also by owning one. Get to know ppl that drive them.

go to the junkyard and find a rotary, you can get them for about 50 bux, tear it apart, put it back together, do it over and over till you know it like the back of your hand, thats how i learned everything i know from piston engines.

in the old days (early 90's) you used just buy a $200 1st gen that needed a motor and go from there...
