Swappin a NA 13b Into my 87 b2000

I searched the forums. Didnt really find anything too in-depth as far as what modifications would be nessicary to make this work.

I just found out i have a spun rod bearing or 2 in my stock b2000 motor. So Since i will have to pull the motor out anyway, im thinkin now is the time to do a swap.. Everything else on the truck from the body to the frame, to the interior is custom anyway, so why not do a custom drivetrain lol

Ive heard the NA rx7 transmissions are interchangeable with my b2000 motor. So thats why i want to stick with NA.. Either way.. The b2000's stock engine is like 80hp i believe. So even if its NA it will still be an upgrade lol

What im thinking is i'll probly have to fabricate my own motor mounts. Shouldnt be too hard. The motor mounts are very simple on these trucks.

As for Fuel delivery.. Do they make like a weber carb swap or something for the 86-93 engines?

I Think if i could run a carburetor on the engine, it would just make it alot easier to do.. since my truck is already carbed. I know fuel injection would be much more efficient, But Ive never done an Efi engine swap before, And unless theres some detailed information i can find on how to do it, Its probly not gonna work to well for me.

I know this swap has been done before.. as far as engine bay clearance, How does the motor fit in there? My main concern is its height. My truck has a 3" bodydrop on it. And the stock air cleaner sticks out of hte hood a little, So im kinda hopign the rotary will sit lower in the engine bay, and i can run a fully stock hood without anythin stickin out.

if anyone has any detailed info id very much appreciate some help on this one. I know that with all the members on this site, there has to be someone who's done this, Or at least knows what i will need to do to make this work..

thanks
