stock injectors on streetport T2??

I just have to know for sure if the stock S5 T2 injectors are good enough for a streetport. i keep getting different answers from everyone i know. I guess it just depends on how big the port is. Im just wondering because my dad just built a streetport on my friends t2 but now it doesnt start on its own, unless its push started. Once its started it doesnt idle on its own either. it wont idle under 1500rpm. We have already checked everything more than twice. There are no vacuum or fuel leaks. The motor gets fuel and spark, we just cant figure out why we cant get the thing to start on its own. PLEASE HELP!!

You should rebalance your fuel injectors when you rebuild an engine.

I'd upgrade the secondary injectors to 1st gen GSLSE 680cc injectors, or upgrade to some other 720cc injectors and get the RTEK 1.7 from www.pocketlogger.com .

remove the crank angle sensor and try resetting it, maybe you guys missed a couple teeth.

what turbo is on the car? i'd use the 680 cc injectors as stated before if porting was the only change, but it will depend on the overall setup what size you'll need.

well, don't you think it's possible that you have to break the motor in to build compression up? it wouldn't hurt to wire up a fuel pump switch to make starting easier. and i have a streetported motor with intake and exhaust and run 15+psi all the time on stock injectors. been doing it for a long while now. i'm not saying it's ok to do that.

i have some 680's, will they fit the S4 harness plugs? cause i don't have the connectors for them.

thanx..but would the 680cc's work fine w the stock ECU? its the stock turbo

a lot of guys with streetported motors choose the 720's. so 680's should work just fine.
