starting trick for bad o-ring

I'm going to be installing a new motor in a few weeks but need to get the car from Boston to NY. Normally, in it's broken state, the car starts on one rotor with low compression but then after several seconds the other rotor sputters to life and I get 48vac at idle-normal. However, when I tried to start it the other day I wasn't quick enough with the gas and it stalled. I haven't been able to restart it since. If anybody knows of any tricks to starting a car with a bad water seal please let me know.

Here is what I've done so far
-dried off the plugs
-turned it over a couple times without the plugs or main relays to flush out the chambers
-currently sitting without plugs installed to let any coolant that's in the combustion chamber evaporate.
-swore a lot

Thanks,

Chris C.

Did you try putting a little auto trans fluid into the chambers to increase compression? You could also try some starter fluid and spray into the intake, don's use a lot. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into it.

Even a half blown engine will start if you pull the car down the road. Just tow it behind a friends car until it starts. It may not run very good but it will start. I have never had this method fail.
