Spark plug wire resistance?

What is the acceptable limit for resistance in the spark plug wires per foot or per inch? I know that they deteriorate over time and resistance increases. At what point should they be considered bad and replaced?

Specs are in the FSM.

Here's what I found. 16K Ohms per meter of plug wire length. Assuming resistance varies directly with length, this would mean 4,878 Ohms per foot, or 406 Ohms per inch. Therefore, measure the length of the plug wire, check the resistance and compare it to these numbers. If resistance is greater, the plug wire needs to be replaced.

Hell, just buy a new set of wires anyway.
