Some Wiring Problems...

I need some help!...My break lights and front blinker lights stay on at all times… also a few lights on the inside, such as the clock light and ashtray light. I don’t know much about wiring so honestly I don’t even know where to start. The car runs normal, but when the car is off the lights still stay on… even when the key is out of ignition the lights stay on. Any suggestions are appreciated...
Thanks.

When I had my foreign car shop a customer with similar problems left hi new Jaguar XKE in our parking lot. A few hours later a person ran in and said that the car was on fire! Get someone who does know about auto electrics to track down the problem. The Jag had sharp body steel cutting thru the harness. Saved the car but needed a whole new harness $$$$$

Thanks for your suggestion... The best way to go would be to PAY someone that knows about wiring but i had this car for a while and everything done to it its been by me so its kinda my learning "project" car... so i was kinda looking to try to fix it myself. Thanks once again for the tip. :)

If this were a FC I would say look the ecu by the drivers kick panel may be at fault. If your 85 has a ecu that may be it, or youll need to start looking at wiring diagrams and trace it out.
