So my throw out bearings going...

OK guys over the past few days I've been hearing a loud squealing noise on every launch, my guess is it's the throw out bearing. Does anyone know anything that will help prevent wear on a throw out bearing, because I don't have the time to fix it, will soon be in college again 5 days a week and work 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday, and because I have to commute, most of my money is going to gas or insurance, so I don't have the money to pay someone else to do it.

If its just a noise at launch of car its probably not the T.O. Bearing. The T.O. Bearing will rattle when the clutch is pushed in and will eventually get to the point where you can't shift at all.

Pretty easy to replace. drive the car up on ramps, put jackstands under it, takes a few bolts on the bellhousing, 4 more underneath to pull the trans. (put a pan under the trans tail before u pull the driveshaft out.) My lil 150 pound a$$ can press the trans out . Once the trans is out the clutch is right there. Being lazy, you can just throw a new TO bearing in . Put some wheel bearing grease on the tip of the trans input shaft when u put it back together to hit the pilot bushing . If thats it it should take you about 4 hours to do the entire thing.

I do get a rattle when the clutch is in and when it's in neutral. I've also had some difficulty using gears on some mornings.
