You should fill it till oil starts pouring out of the fill hole, or if there are two holes one will act as the fill hole and when oil starts pouring out the other its full.

It will probably take approx 2qts of oil, be careful not to over fill. Make sure your car is level.

Well....lets see here.

You are sure everything was put back together correctly? The clutch pedal is all hooked up?

What happens when you put the car in gear? Do you hear anything?

k i will listen more tommarow morning the clutch fells little resistance. when the car is in gear i dont go anywhere i rev teh engin and the car moves very slightly. i didnt start the car in gear should i? i will check on the clutch connections any ideas on where to find out how to do that if the master cylenders off would that be the case. i can put it in gear with no problem at all. i replaced it for the same reason that i have now. thanks 4 the help

Your problem does not sound like a problem with the trans.

The only thing I can think of is a badly worn out clutch.
