so I pulled out 3 of the header manifold studs.

so I was taking my header off yesterday and I loosened all the nuts, and then took off the first one then Went to the next and the stud came out with no trouble, I looked at the other two and they were also halfway out. so I pulled them out as well so that I could finish what I was doing. MY question is can I just screw the studs back in and put some lock Tight on the threads. OR what choices do I have. Thanks Matt22

No. Just torque them down to spec. After that just keep you eyes open when ever you're under the car or doing stuff under the hood. LockTite or whatever is not made for this sort of application.

so just screw them back in and don't use the lock tight is what your saying. Thanks for your help buddy.

I would suggest using some anti-seize on the threads going into the aluminum.

It's a '75. Had a '73 rx3 and the grills and bumpers r different.

well the studs wouldn't go all the way back in so the header leaked like a sob, then I jsut took off one stud at a time and threw a couple washers in ther and now its fine. Lates Matt22
