Silicone Vaccume Hose Job??? should i replace this for the oem hoses??
Silicone Vaccume Hose Job,, should I do it???
any suggestion??/ and if yes, where i can get blue Silicone Vaccume Hoses |
If your hoses are old then yes do it.
A lighter helps with removing the old hoses. http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/hosetech.htm |
Using some penetrating fluid like PB Blaster will also help loosen them up.

i got mine from hosetechniques.com. i used needlenose pliers to get off the hardened rubber hoses. be careful taking them off those emissions solenoid things. they break really easily.

I'm currently using the $15 silicon kit from Autozone. It has 10ft of 4mm thats perfect for my Na S5. It also has 2 other sizes in the kit but I can't remember the size. I like to use a razor blade to cut the old hose and use a flat head screw driver to pry and rotate in the actual cut. This separates the old hose nice and simple without breaking anything. fd3s1128 Autozone has the blue silicon hose that your looking for. They also have red and yellow. |
