Should I replace my apex seals?

I've had a 1991 rx-7 convertible sitting in a tractor barn for about 15 years. The barn kept it out of the elements and at the time of parking the only issue was the brake lines. It as far as I know is still running the original apex seals at 93,000 miles. I don’t plan on doing anything hard on the engine like revving to high rpms frequently, I mostly just want to cruise around with it. I’m just not sure if I should leave the seals be or to not risk it and replace them. Any thoughts?

Welcome to forum. You only replace the apex seals when you rebuild the engine. Do a compression test to see how good engine is

If you haven't already, please do a quick search on starting up an RX7 that has sat for a long time.

First, put some oil in the rotor housing via the spark plug holes and see if the engine turns over easily by hand. After 15 year I wouldn't be surprised if you have some stuck seals, which may need something more aggressive like ATF to free. Won't know until you do a compression test.

Also you're guaranteed to need a full fuel system overall...especially the fuel tank. So lots of work ahead of you!
