Series 4 TII Wiring Harness Differences??

I'm in the gathering parts phase of my TII --> Conv. project. I have two wiring harnesses. One came from an '88 and the other from an '87. The '88 harness does not have a connector for the fuel pump relay (pass side behind headlight). The '87 does have this connector. Does anyone know why the '88 wouldn't have the connector? Every wiring diagram I've seen shows '87 -'88 being the same...

In 87 most cars had low impedence injectors and there is a solenoid resistor pack located about six inches under your air filter, mounted on the frame. Its bright silver in color, about six inches long and two inches wide with one large plug. I have a feeling the extra connector from the 87 harness goes to the resistor pack.

In 88 they started useing high impedence injectors and didn't have the resistor pack so I'm guessing there was no connector on most of the 88 harnesses.

Hope this helps
