s8 wiring harness

ok so I am dropping the engine out of my old car into my new car and low and behold the harness' are different, both were 99's and 2 actual ECU connectors are the same, but it seems to be that the body connectors are for an automatic, and that someone in the past had bastardized the cars harness to work with the Auto harness instead of changeing the engine to a manual one, so ive already figured out one of the plugs (blue one had matching wires as a slightly larger blue plug on the auto harness so just swapped the plug over) and i am certain that the little black plug i do not need as it plugs into a little box that comes up as a "transmission control box" when i punch the PN into google, all i need to know is what i believe to be my gauge cluster connector since the wire colors do not match up and the manual has 4 less pins than the Auto one. so does anyone have a gauge cluster pinout for a manual and automatic s8?
if not what exactly am i going to plug my multi meter into to trace it out later if necessary? i believe i will need speed sensor, crank speed sensor, water temp sensor, and maybe the factory MAP sensor. am i missing anything there? i will go grab some pics of the difference and post them up too

Also it appears that the only thing going to the Auto harness connector is the speed sensor, the rest of the wires for it go over to the Black Auto control box connector

well the further i dig into this the less it makes sence, but it should still work as far as i can tell lol
