Rx7 Upgrade Time

Ok, well I drove my fd for 2 years and loved the power but I want more next year.

I want keep everything simple and I want to keep my stock twins.

I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me a safe boost setting for stock twins (Keeping sequential) and an estimated horsepower. If I can't get more than 320hp I'm just going to 2j the car and boost the nuts off that. I'm tired of getting beat at the track by mustangs and corvettes.

Also any extra work needed to bring the redline from stock 8k up to 9k or just do it and nothing should go horribly wrong.

Thanks for your time guys. I'm hopin

Stock twins on the stock fuel set up would be about 12psi (safely)

Im assuming you have a PFC as I dont know what mods you already have. If so the tuner can raise the red line and with some what larger secondary injectors you can push the twins to 15psi. Although more psi can be achieved, its not recomended. So with the PFC and lets say 1300cc secondaries tuned to 14-15lbs with all other supporting mods 330whp+ is very achievable.

Ok. I don't have a PFC at the moment but it is the first thing on my to buy list. And I was going to upgrade the secondary injectors.

That's good news for me than. I just want to bring the fun back to driving my rx7 again. If I can't get high horsepower I atleast want 300ft/pounds of torque.

What other supporting mods should I do. My car has an upgraded v mount intercooler and a full 3" exhaust system.
