Royal Purple Ice

Has anyone had experience with this in rotaries I use to use it in my qr25 but not sure how it would affect the rotary motor.

Thanks!

used it with straight water since it came out in my race car. I don't use additives in my street car as it runs evans.

I actually like it better than redline WW simply because it does not have an oily residue.

Has kept corrosion away and the system in good shape. I typically flush it once a year though.

okay thanks would it hurt to add to a daily driver (it is for now it will be my drift project soon enough) i plan to flush the cooling system this week, and was thinking of adding this.

P.S. Previous owner has been running 20w50 castrol oil should i go with something thinner or stick with it, I usually ran 10w30 Royal purple synthetic as well.

In a race car shouldn't you use straight coolant to prevent boil overs? Or am I getting this backwards?

im new to rotaries but i dont believe they enjoy synthetic very much...

Edit: i also run 2 stroke oil in my gas which is always good for extra lube lol

There is nothing wrong with running royal purple in your rotary

Would it hurt to run 10w40 royal or stick with 20w50?

^ I use 10 w40 royal PRPLE ON my 8 an on my previous rotaries 20 50 I'm switching over on my next oil change to 20w50 in hot summer days is better,

and running oil coolant in a race car is a no no especially in a race track they hate it , if something goes wrong is bitch to clean at the track, water at the track that I know if 1/4 or 1/8 not sure about other tracks and their rules.

but every one has their favorite on what they use I always have loved the purple
