rotating assembly question

Hi I feel dumb for asking this question but basically I bought a fd3s rx7 as well as two engines so I took the two engines apart not knowing completely what I am doing but anyways I forgot to mark which flywheels, counter weights, and crank shafts go to which engine and there rotors so is there any way to see which parts go to which crank shaft/rotating assembly. Is there any markings on the parts also on the fd3s rx7's I heard that it does not matter which rotor goes to front or back of rotating assembly.
Thanks

Just check the witness marks the oil control ring springs made on it.

Were they all FD engines?

If so than the CW's and FW's should be interchangeable. As for the rotors, check them for their weight classes (A-E) and pair up the matching rotors. I *believe* I read somewhere that the rotors are also marked with a "I" or "II" stamp for front and rear rotors, I'm not positive though... Personally my rotors are from an earlier gen NA motor and are machined all up, so I don't have any markings like that left on mine..

Check with some of the professional engine builders on here to be sure!!

Hi I will take a look at marks the oil control ring springs made also fendamonky they were both fd engines.
Thanks

Any luck identifying them?

No Not really I was told by some other people that since they were both fd engines that it does not matter about the weights as they are the same engine years, But then other engine builders I have also talked to said that it does matter so I am not sure. Off topic ArmyOfOne but were definitely thinking of you building my engine but I need to still get the apex seals from e&j autoworks but we have been pretty busy lately.
Thanks

I dropped off 2 blown cores for rotary resurrection to make 1 good out of. All he said he had to match were the rotor weights within +1 or -1 of the letter code of the weight.

Yeah the rotors I got are both matched but how is your engine running with un matched rotors.
Thanks
